A lesson learned for all of us...bringonthepartyMay 28 2004, 16:12:08 UTC
Nick, you bring up a good point.. Being just the lil baybee I am, maybe I don't really know yet, but from what I've learned, you really have to be so careful who you trust. If you entrust someone with something, for example, a piece of information, and it turns out you shouldn't have, then it can totally turn around and make your life a living Hell. And when I say Hell, I mean it. The worst part is, there are so many people willing to trick you into trusting them.
I think that of all the things that high school has taught me so far, to keep my mouth shut has been the most valuable. Sometimes, even who you think are some of your closest friends are merely putting on a facade. I am cuurrently dealing with just such an issue. Maybe it our own fault (as humans) for wanting to open up to someone. But then again, why should anyone blame themself for something like this? Aren't the betrayed the victims? Not that that is really a good way of thinking about it, but it's the truth, somewhat. Or maybe it just seems that way to me, because I'm still young and naive.. 0= )
