Mom, Grandpa, Granny and I all went to Ruth's house today (Well, trailer). It is right next to the house where mom grew up. Pete and Janice live in it now and they are letting it fall apart. Quite sad actually.
Just finished _Original Sin_ by P.D. James. I liked it. There was more than one inspector--really, the book was not just one person against a suspect or two. There were so many different characters that I had to write down a cheat sheet in the back to keep them all straight. But it made the book more interesting. I did feel cheated at the end because no one really figured out the mystery. As has happened with the last few mystery books I've read, the answer was handed to the investigators on a platter. It was disappointing. Still, I will probably be reading more P.D. James in the future.
