R.I.P. Reagan
i dont ever mix my music, life and politics, especially when it comes to the right wing, but i do need to say this...
I wasnt a big fan of Ronald Reagans policies, but yet i was too young to understand them. Seeing his speeches, i understand the magnetic personality he had, and why it drew people to him.
more over than that, he was a friend of my family, and had spent time in the 30's living and hanging out with my grandparents. They were very close during his Iowa years, and maintained that friendship throughout his life.
He may have made some bad moves, shit, all leaders do, but i'll tell ya one thing, outside of Clinton getting his knob polished in the white house, there hasnt been anyone else to occupy that office that had that much public attention,and for right or wrong reasons, the attetntion that goes with it.
I hope he can find the peace in the sunset he always wanted to ride off into.
