bye Robin
Well this morning definitely sucked.....and school definitely sucked until c block, greek is definitely my favorite class (yah latin is over).
After school was much better, drove home...stalled behind our bus...ate cake with kate and greg, ate small bit of smoothie with brev and kate, and then went canoeing with kate, kevin, and brendan. It was such a gorgeous day again. The shortcut was rougher than i remembered and kate was lacerated a little. We tried to empty Sweet Caroline but got more water and muck in it, yay. Paddled around and had a cross pond convo with kate's mom. Then we had another conversation with a little girl, who lived right along the lake, apparently named Robin and probably about 4. After 5 minutes or so of "excuse me, excuse me," Robin told us that she was making nutters for her best friend Katie, who she was very sad we did not know. Then she asked us about billy, who we finally figured out was her dog...i think? She invited us over to show us what she could do in her yard (mind u we're still in the canoe...on the lake)...then she went down her slide...this was probably the point where we realized, and were pretty darn sure, that Robin was not wearing pants. She was darn cute but very persistent...finally i had to tell her my mom didn't allow me to go to others people's houses and kate declared that we had sore throats and could not talk anymore. Robin was very sympathetic and even offered a phone for me to call my mom...all in garbled 4 year old speech. Eventually, Robin took our relationship to another level...from 'stranger' to umm well, she said, "i love you....i love you alot." I think kate and i almost fell out of the boat. Meanwhile brendan and kevin offer no help and sunbathe. Finally a parent fetched Robin inside but we could still here her. She came back later and wanted to know while we were still here, we were just talking in the canoes, tied together. She became quite distraught when we gave her the cold shoulder.
Eventually kate and i walked home and i was attacked by bugs cuz i smelled like a swamp as a result of kate's splashing and being slapped by some lillypads.
Then i did some homework reluctantly, watched tv with mom...and now i'm doing this.
oh and i just finished my haircut!........
