beach trip!!
This past weekend...after a sweltering saturday of gardening and lawn mowing and relaxing in the sun, "The girlfriend" and i went off to the beach for a mini-vacation! it was so much fun and so relaxing and great for us! we even got to bring Paco! here are some photos and description of the weekend!
We started off by driving to Manzanita to chill on the beach by the dunes and play fetch with Paco...this is by far my favorite beach on the oregon coast that i've been to. so rad!!

we made art in the sand.
it was cold...but awesome!!
After the beach fetch and art and fun times, we slowly made our way back to Cannon Beach where we were staying. We decided to drive down some of the side roads and look at houses in the little beachside towns. SO RAD! we want one...i didn't take any pictures, but my dearest wanted to look at this wicked creepy abandoned house and snapped a few photos before i saw the creepy grave-sized hole in the backyard and paniced! *shudder* it was creeeeeeepy!

Then we made it to Cannon beach and got our room! it was pretty rad and totally weird too. there were all sorts of amenities...haha! we were stoked that we were able to bring paco with us and he seemed pretty tired from the beachfetch! we just kind of chilled out on the beach down the street, and then went and got some dinner at a pizza joint and talked about our d&d style server and got some beer and went back to the room for relaxing! In the morning, we walked around on the beach and then went to get coffee and breakfast and do some window shopping in cannon beach. melisa got me this RAD kite. it's got a wizard riding on the back of a dragon on it! so badass!! so, we went to the beach for a kite flying/fetch with paco session before we headed home!

once, home...we just sort of chilled out...i skipped class and we watched movies and relaxed. we had a RAD vacation! so fun.
