More Info on the Institute
While I was reminiscing at the Memorial Park today and sat on the same bench that Pietro was lying on that first night that I saw him, I met this man. He was out jogging but we got into a little conversation. At first it was about this Beast of Bayville. I sort of commented on the whole incident and to my surprise this guy knew a bit about the whole beast thing. His name was... Well, all I remember was his last name and it was Foster and he was some kind of lawyer but he also taught.. History, I think at the Xavier Institute. Or that's what he told me.
Seems he's another elitist/mutant. He could levitate himself, I think he said he was using the power of air or wind. I can't remember. It was neat though. Anyone who can fly is lucky, in my book. He could also blast wind out of his hands. Sort of the way I do my tricks using my hands. He knocked Pietro's bench over though. :( But being the good Samaritin that he was, he set it upright again. Good, or I would have tried to have done it myself later.
I guess this Institute isn't such a bad place. Not that I can be sure. Lorna said a lot of bad things about it, but this Foster guy said that it was for mutants who had no place else to go. So that they could be accepted. Not that I believe everything that he told me. He could be setting things up so that the institute looks better than it actually is. Lorna's been in there. She isn't part of the institute. A different perspective of the place is always good and I'd trust Lorna (No matter how confused the girl is) over some guy who actually works AT the institute and is friends with LOGAN.
Anyway. I'm sort of starting to pack finally. I even included my Dizzy Spell dress. Not sure why I'd even think about wearing it in New York. But just in case...
I might need the strength that the dress gives me, especially when I see Pietro.
