Improvalicious

I finally got the improv showcase clipped and posted!

For any of our improv scenes, we start knowing nothing about what is to be said or done on stage, and make everything up on the spot based on a suggestion from the audience.  Sometimes ‘games’ are constructed around this that add silliness or structure.  I’m in the red shirt!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCClGD4-KtU - Here the ‘game’ we’re playing is explained pretty well by our MC - do the same scene several times, halving the duration each time.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cc2Lvorg9RM - For this one, the explanation of the ‘game’ got clipped - basically the four of us narrated an improvised story in real-time.

Still so easy to spot ways to improve in hindsight, but that's part of the challenge - I'd definitely do it again.  I’m taking a break from formal classes for this quarter ‘cause I’m tired of driving into Seattle during rush hour, but am continuing to do occasional informal practice sessions when I can find them.
