Hockey Commentators Say the Darndest Things!
I really love hockey. And tonight, it wasn't just for the actual hockey, though that was amazing as well. Tonight, the commentators were absolutely hilarious, probably unintentionally. During tonight's Habs-Flyers game, they said a few funny things that really caught our attention in the first couple periods, so by the third period we were actively listening to what they were saying. Here are some gems:
-- "now they have a pudgy four-goal lead."
-- "you know it's bad when your goalie's sitting in the middle of the bench like a grocery stick."
-- "[Player X] shot that right into [Player Y's] mush." (According to my dad, "mush" == "crotch.")
-- "this [shot] is a weapons-grade slapper."
-- "that showed fine stimulation off the stick."
and my personal favourite:
-- "their constipated offense has started flowing a bit."
