Okay so this MAY be one of the last journal/blog post yal will get for atleast 6 months. I leave home in exactly 31 days tonight. Then I wont step foot in Texas for 5 months(til June 6th). If you dont know what I'm talking about......you're behind but that's ok, I'll fill you in. I'm leaving for Basic/AIT training for the Army. I get to spend 10 wonderful weeks in South Carolina. Then I get to spend the remaining time in Virginia, which I hope I will enjoy the northern life! I dont know how I'll adapt at first to no games/tv/internet etc. all the things I spend hours doing each and everyday. I get to go back to the old days when communicating had to be done with pen and paper! Guess I can work on my penmenship(sp?). The nervous stage of it all hasn't really set in yet, but I'm sure in due time it will get worse. This is probably be the biggest/toughest/hardest etc. etc. decision I've ever made in my life and once I go through with it and return home, I will feel that I've actually accomplished something in my life thus far. Anyways, last thing on this subject if you havn't gotten an invite to my going away party on December 17th........not my fault =P It's because the people handling the invites dont know all my friends :) SO, if you havn't gotten yours yet...let me know and I'll pass the message along.
Friends.....................what would I do without them?! Probably die, but we wont find out what would happen if I didnt have them. This thanksgiving break was somewhat productive on the catching up with people. Alek, Katie, Steven, and I spent something like 2 hours at IHOP at like midnight Thursday night. I think Alek, Katie, and I agree'd that the funniest thing all night was our fight about Verizon phones. So I said Verizon phones were gay because they didnt have sim cards, and then Katie goes "You're Gay" and I immediatly said "I'm gay" with no delay. SO here's the instant replay:

Anyways we had a blast eating/talking at IHOP! We also played board games at Steven's house where Carbs/Ben/I kicked some major butt at some outburst? and Alek/Ben/I raped everyone at pictionary!!!! BTW Layna..............you will never defeat me in a board game!
Since I'm leaving soon, I hope that we(anyone/everyone) get to spend time together before I depart. It may be the last time you get a taste of the funny/stupid/careless Hutch I am! Even if we arent on the best of terms.....I'd still like to see you before I leave. I'll spend my nights remembering what great friends I have at home and have something to look forward to at the end of training!
