So, here's the Master Post for my Evil Author Day posts. Of the three stories listed below, I'm only planning to finish one at this point (The Sword He Draws). I do still love both of the other stories, I just don't know if I have time to finish them. Still, it's a shame to leave them on my hard drive where no one can read them. I hope you enjoy these snippets!
History and Words Unspoken (NCIS: LA): I started this ages ago, when I was still watching NCIS: LA. It was the result of a suggestion made to me by a fan. I don't normally accept plot bunnies for adoption because my Muse tends to be picky about the ideas I write, but this one proved to be too tempting. I have no idea if I'll ever finish this because I haven't actually watched the show in ages, but I thought this would make a nice post for EAD. Please note that there's sex in this story, near the beginning, between two total strangers. If that's not your cuppa, don't feel obligated to read.
Brave New World (Pacific Rim): I started this story sometime after I'd seen Pacific Rim. I wrote a Girl!Raleigh story, and then got to wondering what it'd be like with a Girl!Chuck. This story is the result. It goes AU after the breach is closed, and since I haven't seen the sequel, it'll stay that way if I ever decide to finish it. It's Raleigh/Chuck, and Rule 63. There isn't a whole lot here, because I'd written only a little before I got distracted by something else, but I hope you enjoy what's here.
The Sword He Draws
Part 1 and
Part 2: This was my Rough Trade project from July 2019, for The Reel End. I wasn't able to finish it before the challenge ended, and it's sat on my hard drive ever since. I think the reason I haven't gone back to it is that I really don't like the last thing I wrote for it. I hate going back and scrapping something I've written, but in this case, that's the best approach. Fortunately, it's only the beginning of Part 3 that I hate, and that part never saw the light of day on Rough Trade. So, I'm posting Parts 1 & 2 here in their entirety. I've tentatively penciled in this story for May, after the April Rough Trade challenge. I'm hoping to have it done by the time July rolls around. Once it's complete, it'll go up on AO3, so keep your eyes peeled.
