Grimm Fic: Suspicious Minds

I am laughing hysterically right now, because as I sit here and write this post, they're playing Suspicious Minds on the radio!

So, this wasn't actually inspired by the song.
The song is the perfect title for this story, but I actually titled the story after I'd written it. I love Elvis, and after I'd looked up the lyrics to this song, I found it quite appropriate. It's a little bit backwards for me. Usually, I'll hear a song and have it inspire a story. This time it's the other way around.
Anyway, the idea for this story came out of the late-season episodes. My mom and I were actually talking about how Juliette seems to be taking the weirdness that is Nick's life with such grace that there has to be something else going on. I mean, the beavers are dropping off food and quilts and all manner of stuff, and she's buying Nick's explanation, as flimsy as it is? Really?
So, I started thinking about why she would stay when she might still think everything he's telling her is bullshit. It makes me wonder if Juliette really is who she appears to be. Given that we know that hexenbiester serve the Royal houses, I got to thinking about who else might serve the Royals. I mean, once upon a time, even the Grimm served the Houses. So, what if Juliette were serving a Royal house? What if it was a different House than Renard belongs to? What if she's after the same thing he is, but she's going about it in a different, but no less underhanded way?
I may choose to take this idea further in another story, but for now, this one is all from Nick's POV. It's actually a series of twelve drabbles, each 100 words long. They're all his thoughts and suspicions about Juliette and his life the way it is now.
The episodes referenced are:
Game Ogre
Danse Macabre
Last Grimm Standing
Plumed Serpent
Island of Dreams
The Thing with Feathers
Love Sick
Cat and Mouse
Leave It to Beavers
Happily Ever Aftermath
Woman in Black
I wasn't actually going to include the season finale in this story (I was actually going to stop at ten drabbles, but that's another story), but then I got going and realized that I could include it and have it make some sense. This is all pure conjecture, of course, but it's fun to speculate anyway.
