the end.... and a new beggining
I have spent the last two years doing shipping for abney park, but today is my last day. Working for them has been exactly what I've needed, I was able to work from home, able to help support another local band, able to communicate with their fans who are lovely, endearing and amazing people. In short it was a perfect job for the time and place I was at and now it's time to move on.
my goals are simple, focus on bringing my own art and music up to the leval I want them to be. Dnbs has had a pretty big year, and things are only getting bigger better and busier, it was past time to focus on that aspect of my life, and turn our music into the priority it really needed to be. Also I went to fashion school, I have a design degree that i'm not using and I want to stop that, I want to start making art again, both visual and textural/ apparal art. I am so lucky to have this chance to pursue the things I'm passionate about
but in the meantime a big thank you to Abney Park for the last two years, it was truly one of my favorite jobs, and while I'm sad to see it go, I'm excited by the next chapter!
