Mister, I met a man once when I was very young...
Once upon a time there was a very naive trusting girl. And this girl lived in a small world. She lived in a modest 3 bedroom apartment in a college town with her best friend. And life was good for the girl. And then one day the girl met a man, and he was tall, good looking and charming. And the girl fell in love. And the girls life turned around. She moved to a different state and moved in with the man. And life was good for the girl still, living in a small house with the man. And they planned their life together: weddings, childern, homes, careers....and everything was perfect. The girl admired the man, and she looked up to him, and she completely trusted him with everything she had. She trusted the man with her life. And if times ever got hard, the girl believed the man would pull them through together. But the times did get hard and the man started to change. He began pulling away and became distant, but still the girl believed. Because throughout her life, whenever things were hard for the girl, she believed that times would be good again. So the girl stayed in the small house with the tall man because she still believed, and she still trusted, and she still loved. But then one day, the man told her that things were different, and could never be the same. And the girl cried. The girl cried so much she almost drowned in her tears. And so the girl had the move again. And once again the girl lived in a bedroom by herself. And when she did, she didn't get out of bed for days, and the tears kept coming. And then one night, the unbelievable thing happened. When the three minutes were up, the girl saw what she couldn't believe. But she kept it to herself, not excatly sure how to tell the man. But then the oppertunity never came. The girl found herself on her bathroom floor and the test didn't need to be taken again. The girl wasn't sure what to believe anymore. She didn't even know how to believe in herself. And before, she always believed that things would turn out right for her. The girl didn't know how to trust again and the tears kept coming. But then, one day, the girl woke up and was tired of crying. So she got out of bed, brushed her long hair and went out into what turned out to be, a very large world. She lost herself in the faces and sounds around her, and she began not to hurt anymore. She still didn't know how to believe, but she was tired of being sad. And so, life continued on for the girl. She went to school, she studied, and for the first time in her life, she began to get up early for no reason. She found out that she could be alright on her own, and she began to believe in herself again. And she began to be happy again. And when she was at her happiest, the girl met another man. Again, the man was good looking and charming. And the girl felt herself drawn towards his smile. She began to see the man almost everyday, and she began to feel herself wondering if she could care for this man in a real way. But with the wonderment came fear. And the girl became very frightened, even though she tried to seem brave. The girl didn't know how to give herself to the man. She didn't know how to let him see every part of her, even the broken ones. And truth be told, she was afarid to let him see parts of her that had scars because if he saw, then maybe he wouldn't believe in her either. And the girl needed the man to believe in her. So the girl took a small step with the man, even though it terrified her. But the girl felt very couragous for taking the small step. And the man agreed to the small step. And the girl was greatful. But, deep down, the girl was still very frightened. And she didn't know if things were going to be okay. The girl wasn't sure weather or not to throw herself wholeheardtly in the mans hands, or to pull herself away and run and hide. The girl liked the man very much, but she didn't know what to do. But then, the girl looked up and around her, and realized, that no one ever knows these things. That you call it a leap of faith for a reason. That it may never be easy for one to believe, but you just do it. You take the steps out of Hell and into the light. And once the girl realized all of this, things were good again for the naive girl, although, she wasn't so naive anymore. The girl is still scared and can never be the same again, but what she will become is better than she ever thought she could possibly be.

The End.
