"Coldplay have confirmed two club shows in the US next month.
The band, who recently played a number of tiny shows across Europe in the build up to the release of their third album 'X&Y', had already announced a number of dates starting later this week at Las Vegas' Hard Rock Cafe' (April 29).
The two dates confirmed today will take place at San Francisco's Filmore on May 4 and Chicago's Metro club on May 6. Tickets go on sale April 30 for Chicago and May 1st in San Francisco, limited to two per person.
As previously reported, other dates include a headline slot at Coachella Festival on May 30 and a May 11 show at Toronto's Kool Haus, before further European shows."
