School, hurray!

Some of you might have been quite confused by my subject. I'm trying to trick myself into being excited for school. So maybe if I say it, it will come true. Hoorah for school. Yippee!! (Okay, so I know I'm not convincing whatsoever, but hey, it's a work in progress.)
Anyway. Not much new. My roommates are moved in...mostly. We still don't have a fourth roommate. At least I don't know if we do or not, and neither does my landlord for that matter. She thought that she double rented the room, and now she can't even find a single contract. She's nuts. But, there have been lots of improvements, new carpet, new paint, new doors, new bathrooms, and we are even getting hooked up with wireless internet that we'll be able to be on all at the same time. The best part about it is that my landlord is going to pay for it. Sweet!
I got all moved into my new room. I quite like it. Not to big, not to small and all my stuff fits well in it and it's very me.
I still need to figure out where my classes are. I guess I should do that soon so that I can be to class on time.
So, me and my roommates decided that we are going to be social with our neighbors this year. I've met someone from all the apartments, except for across the hall. I don't know if anyone lives there yet. I haven't seen anyone as of yet. We've already got annoying neighbors downstairs that play their music way too loud at night. It would be partly okay if it was decent music, but it sucks.
So, I have this quote that I decided is going to change my attitude on things. I need to be more optimistic. Here it is:

ATTITUDE
By: Charles Swindoll
“The more I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company…a church…a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past…we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude…I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you…we are in charge of our Attitudes.”

That is inspiration from me to you for the day. And if it didn't inspire you, I guess you are SOL. Hehe...just joshin' ya.

More to come.
