quickie
ahhhh how to describe alife in a few short sentences.
i have spent a lot of time on me lately. i made 3 paintings for our apartment, and they are proudly displayed in the living room. not good [i wouldn't spend money on them], but full of color. i blew up, matted, and framed some of my favorite photographs that i've taken, and they are also hanging, in the dining room. i re-strung my guitar and have been playing every day for the first time in years. and i've read like 6 books in the lastweek or so.
amy and i are 'breaking up.' but it's more trouble and pain than it's worth so, psht. onward.
been cooking a lot. last week riccio and i made an apple chutney stuffed pork loin with a pear puree and sweet potato mash. tonight we made veal marsala over angel hair. it was delicious both times, and i'm learning a lot. and getting practice.
i am mostly decided to go to culinary school. mostly. like 4 days out of 7. i'm getting there.
met a great guy named mike. he works offshore so we'll see how things go, seeing as i have relatively normal maintenance levels for a chick. keep your fingers crossed.
generally speaking, trying to be happy and have fun. but it's getting cold [it was down to 43 the other night!] and i don't like it. sickness is coming, as per this time every year for the last 5 years. hanging in there.
