I guess
it's time to post photos of the big
event and the big people and the big food and fun and happiness that we
had
last weekend! It was an ablsolute blast I tell you. I feel blessed that
God has
put some really cool people in our midst - it's a thing to be
cherished. I'm too tired to go into deep wonderful explanations, and I
don't
know if I want to, but I will find some nice photos, 'cause as the
saying goes:
"A picture is worth a thousand words". I'll comment on each as they
come. You can't really get the idea of the good time had not having
been there, but I'll try convey a bit of it anyway.
It was wonderful to
finally meet Carly! She's so cool, and it will be good getting to know
her better. Seeing the Careys for five days was wonderful too - we haven't
spent that much time together for a while, and there was much late
nighting and giggling and talking and everything.
Many thoughts have
been going through my head this week, about people and journalling and
life and the coming months and my brain feels a bit wacko. I would love
to be able to write thoughtful posts... I really enjoyed what Marty
had to say when he got home. I'll post the Saturday night pictures in one post, and the surrounding days in the second, so they load easier.
1. Here's the birthday boy, and Alex. Bad pic yeah, but I reckon it's cute:-D

1. (Simon), Chris, Dad and Joe.
2. Tain and Marty. It was so cute
seeing these two together. Tain loves big guys, and there's just
something special about Marty - he follows him everywhere!
The food! Not all of it actually - we
had soup and rice, quiches, pastries etc for dinner, then choc and
raspberry mouse and ripe cherry chesecake for dessert. The cheesecake
especially was amazing! Andrea made it - go her.
