We've had a fabulous O'Week at UNE this week, and it was really encouraging to see our new Christian Student Group - UNitEdinc (United In Christ) - up and running! We had a stall on Monday, and gave out flyers, lollypops and free water to about 500 freshers who came by our table. We had about 20 new Christian students put their names down, people who are interested in coming along to our weekly meetings and getting plugged in to Christian life in Armidale! Tuesday we ran a sport afternoon and free BBQ dinner, and on Wednesday we were able to spend about four hours at the Freshers' Bash at the UNE Bistro, cooking students food and just generally being around to chat with them. Now via email, texts, facebook and the net, we're seeking to get our name out to as wide an audience as possible, so that there's no one on campus at UNE who doesn't know who we are and what we're about! So, check out our website, our facebook page, and please be praying as we kick start our weekly meetings this coming week, and seek to create and build Christian friendships with students at UNE, and reach out to those who don't yet know Jesus.
