A) People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs and replace any question that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.
B) Tag eight people to do this quiz and those who are tagged cannot refuse. These people must state who they were tagged by and cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by. Continue this game by sending it to other people.
1. What are your reasons for having a LJ?
Originally it was to stay in touch better with my cousin,
Danielle, as my
first post confirms. Obviously my journalling addiction wasn't satisfied until I gave it more! Now it's just another way to stay in touch with some lovely friends I've made, and share occasional news or thoughts.
2. What do you do before bedtime?
Have a shower, brush my teeth, talk to people in my house or on MSN, and check my e-mails again in front of the heater.
3. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you travel?
Europe. I love the culture and the accents, and most of all the rich historical heritage that surrounds each of the countries. I'm planning to go to England for a uni exchange September 2009!
4. What is the city of your dreams and why?
Well I guess practically speaking, it's Armidale. So many blessings and memories and good times have happened here already, and I'm looking forward to many more.
5. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
I'd definitely say an extrovert. Occasionally I'm quiet, if I'm in a large group of people I don't know, or I'm really tired or stressed out or something. Generally though, it's quite the opposite.
6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?
I really don't know. I think the ideal relationship is one of mutual affection!
7. Do you trust easily?
It depends on the person I'm meant to trust. I'd say I actually have a suspicious streak, cause I often find myself thinking, "Is that really how it happened?" Perhaps this is the result of having a few particularly mischievous little brothers who rarely relate stories as they originally happened! But I always shudder at the words of Ben Folds' song which says, "If you can't trust, you can't be trusted..."
8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?
Commit the feelings and thoughts to God, treat the guy (and the girl) the same as always, and try not to think of it anymore.
9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
I wouldn't say exactly unhappy. I've been worried and stressed over stuff, but I find that these things only make me unhappy when I pay unhealthy attention to them and forget that God has it all in hand.
10. What is the quality you like most about yourself?
Maybe my personality. Of course there are a lot of negatives to it too, but I'm glad I'm bubbly, and find it easy to talk to strangers, and that I make people laugh.
11. Is being tagged fun?
Of course!
12. How do you see yourself?
Um, with my eyes in the mirror?? I don't know exactly what this means. I think I see myself more clearly than anyone else sees me, cause there's nothing I can't hide, and I know all my inmost thoughts and most appalling secrets! ;-)
13. Who are currently the most important people to you?
That's a hard one cause I've never really rated my friends on levels of importance. I guess it'd probably be my immediate family, a couple of my cousins, and friends like Anna, Sarah, Caroline...
14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
Carol is a lovely American wife and mum, who I've enjoyed getting to know over the past year or so. She's interesting and fun, and it's been lovely getting a peak into her growing family's life and being able to encourage and be encouraged in return too.
15. Would you rather be single and rich or married but poor?
Definitely married and poor.
16. How many children do you want to have, if any?
I dunno - four or five. Big families are so much fun, and I reckon I'll have cute babies so it's not like I wont want to see another one. :-P But then it's not like I'm really in a position to be making that decision so I'll let the future take care of itself!
17. What's better, to give or to receive?
Ah, it's a pretty close tie I reckon!
18. Do you have very vivid dreams?
Indeed I do. There are a few that I've dreamt over the years that I still recall really clearly, and I can often recount dreams the following morning with details of events and people and sometimes conversation. I meet really exciting people sometimes too, and I can always fall long distances without ending up a mangled mess.
19. What was your first job, and what were your duties?
Um, first job was... Well, I've been paid for various things over the years. Sewing stitcheries for my cousins' patchwork comes immediately to mind (probably 2001 or around then?), but I think the first proper, 'I have to have a tax file no.', kind of job was with Hutchinson and Harlow Real Estate Agents (2005), where I was recruited for a time to organise their customer details database. Basically I had to ring lots of people and ask them if they were still interested in being contacted about properties. And I sometimes did other random jobs around the office too, like binding booklets and stuff. It was just a day a week.
20. What is your biggest fear?
What a note to end on! Missing the opportunities God's put in my way. And then of course heights, and dangerous situations.
EDIT: Ooops, I forgot to tag. I think I know everyone on my friends' list fairly well, so I wont tag anyone, but I'd love to read your answers if you decide to do it! :)
