Right now I'm loving:
The Basics - This is what every rock band should sound like! Ok, that's not true. Because if everyone else sounded like this too, then these guys wouldn't be so cool. They sound like they've time traveled from the 60s but then they have some really fresh modern sounds mixed in and I'm really not a music critic so this is when I stop talking and tell you just to LISTEN to them! Plus they're Aussies and just cool and I think everyone who says they're a lover of good rock should definitely check these guys out!
And Ben Kweller is just fun. I guess it's just pop/rock really, but it's so fresh and uplifting and his lyrics are really cute and thoughtful too. If you want something to dance to while you're washing up...
