Application for Apollo Justice, from... Apollo Justice

... So either Trucy had learnt how to improve her illusions, or something really weird was happening to Apollo. And, considering the usual events in Apollo's life, if he thought something was really weird, it was pretty darned odd.

Another defense attorney, and another with the desire to spike his hair into weaponry. The references to his badge at any possible connection was also familiar. The name Wright might be common, but Edgeworth doubted its mention was a coincidence.

"The Wright Anything Agency you mention wouldn't happen to go by the considerably less foolish name The Wright and Co. Law Offices?"

For several moments, Apollo could only stare with his mouth open. He wasn't usually one to squeal or stare, but... Brain has cancelled all non-essential functions. Try again later.

"Y-you're," he stammered. "You're. P-prosecutor Miles Edgeworth?!"

"Indeed. That is something of which I am certainly aware." Edgeworth sighed. "I assume that means the answer to my previous question was yes?"

Apollo was not usually one to fanboy. He had been a little star-struck upon first meeting Phoenix Wright, but that had faded quite a bit upon actually spending time in the man's company and learning that he had changed quite a bit since his days as a defence attorney. Miles Edgeworth - Miles Edgeworth - on the other hand, looked just as noble and intelligent and accomplished as he did on the videos of his cases.

"Question? What? Oh! Yeah! I mean, yes! The Wright Anything Agency, previously the Wright and Co. Law Offices. Now owned by Mr Wright and Trucy. I'm sorry, sir, I'm babbling," babbled Apollo, "but it's just such an honour to meet you! I'm a great admirer of your work! I mean, I know you're a prosecutor and I'm a defence attorney, but you're the right sort of prosecutor! And your work is amazing!"

Edgeworth stared at Apollo for a moment, searching for any kind of sense in his statement. "Who exactly is Trucy?" he said in his talking-to-suspects voice, "And for how long has it gone by that name?"

"Trucy Wright," replied Apollo. "About this tall, wears a lot of blue, is a pretty good magician. Mr Wright's adopted daughter. And... well, it used to be called the Wright Talent Agency, but a few months ago Trucy renamed it the Wright Anything Agency because I joined and apparently being a defence attorney isn't a talent. It was the Wright and Co. Law Offices before Mr Wright was disbarred, of course, though I still don't know who the 'Co.' actually was."

Yes, Apollo was doing his best to be as helpful as possible. This was Miles Edgeworth. He was so much cooler than Klavier.

"Ah," said Edgeworth, "And what year, exactly, is it currently?"

... That was kind of weird: someone as knowledgeable and awesome as Edgeworth not knowing what year it was. His mind was probably so full of deep thoughts he would forget little details like that.

"It's 2026, Prosecutor Edgeworth, sir!" Apollo answered, still being helpful.

Franziska wasn't part of this conversation, but at this point she did jump in to whip him for being more impressed by Edgeworth than he had been about her.

At which, Apollo yelped in a pretty undignified manner.
