Jo was clutching the flashlight tightly in her hand as she moved through the narrow passageway in the walls. Yes, it has been her idea to go down here when Dean wasn't able to fit, and she didn't regret it, really. It was just really kind of creepy down here. The flashlight kept making weird shadows on the walls and she kept expecting that psycho killer ghost to jump out and grab her.
"Where are you?" She heard on her phone.
Moving it closer to her ear, Jo looked around her. "I'm by the North wall." She looked around and saw the passageway that was going down. "I'm about to head down some kind of air duct."
Jo wasn't exactly sure what she was expecting to see when she came out of the air duct. This was definitely not it.
"Where the hell did the castle come from?"
Mickey coughs theatrically. "'What is your name?'"
She frowned a little, boggling at the talking cartoon character. "Jo Harvelle."
"What is your quest?" asks the Cat. It's perched, suddenly, on the roof of one of the gate-stiles.
Jo shook her head. "Currently, I'm trying to figure out how I ended up here since last thing I recall, I was in a room playing bait to the murderous ghost of a serial -- wait a minute. Did Dean put you up to this? He did, didn't he?"
"What is the average w..?'" Mickey frowns down at the notebook. "You know, I don't really see why that's important." He flips a page. "'If you could be granted three wishes, what would they be?'"
She thought about this. "To have my Dad back alive and well, that my mom would realize I'm not a little girl and quit trying to shelter me from everything." She paused for a moment. "And for REO Speedwagon to go back on tour." This was Jo, after all.
"Or," the Cat says, examining its tail with interest, "if you were a genie and someone you were trying to give three wishes to was trying to trick you into giving him more, what would you say?"
"If he went through all of that trouble and did somehow manage to trick me and not get his butt handed to him, I'd say he earned those extra wishes."
Mickey looks rather nonplused at the next, but reads, "'When the revolution comes, what skills will you be able to barter for food?'"
She raised an eyebrow. "I don't think so, guys. I'm a hunter and a fighter. That's what I'm best at."
The Cat rolls its eyes in a friendly (and rather disconcertingly out-of-sync) way, and asks, "Milk, dark, or white chocolate?"
"Any and all. Chocolate is one of the food groups."
"'Choose the two coolest: robots, pirates, fairies, bears, ninjas, monkeys, vampires, or humans,'" says Mickey, giggling a bit as he goes through the list. "'Explain.'"
She rolled her eyes this time. "Vampires and fairies are twisted creatures and will do their best to kill you, eat you, or enslave you. Most pirates and ninjas are humans, and humans are liars. Don't even get me started on the fallacy of robots. Bears and monkeys are definitely the coolest."
"Great!" Mickey flips through the blank pages of the notebook at top, cartoon-y speed. "Well, I think that's just about it! Oh, and I'm supposed to ask, 'for your safety: are you carrying anything sharp?'"
She laughed. "Yes I am."
[[Jo is from the show Supernatural and I have the permission of Sam's player to app her. I'm bring her in from Season 2, right in the middle of the episode "No Exit" where she was helping Sam and Dean hunt a ghostly serial killer.]]
