You ready to do this? Come over tomorrow around noon. We'll do the tour and have a lake party/barbecue afterward.

Sometime later as the Bentley went down the road, Chii walked by and watched it slowly pass, blinking. Hadn't Una said this sort of thing wasn't appropriate? Or was it okay because the girls were wearing something that covered the right parts, like Lily had tried to explain?

She had so many questions to ask now, but Chii could only watch, blink, and sound out a surprised, "Chii?" with a head-tilt. Then, naturally, she started trying to do the poses Cayce and Ellie had - Chii was learning.

Cayce caught a glimpse of Chii and flushed scarlet.

"Oh shit," she muttered.

Ellie followed Cayce's gaze and grinned. Sure, the kid was cute, but if she wanted to flaunt it too, who were they to tell her no? "Well, hey there, sweetie," she called out, waving. "Way to get your mojo working!"

Cayce smirked. "Hope you're ready to explain to her what 'mojo' is," she said to Ellie in an undertone.

As Cayce thought, Chii asked at once, "Mojo? What is that? And I am Chii, who are you with Crowley-san and Cayce-san? And hello, Crowley-san~! Cayce-san~! What are you doing?"

"Hey, Chii," said Crowley wondering if anyone would see this little display who was meant to. "This is Ellie. Cayce and Ellie and I thought it would be fun to drive around and look pretty." That was simple enough, right?

Ellie laughed, not unkindly, and tried to explain. "Mojo. Umm, your style, your...expression of the awesomeness that is you." She grinned. "Yeah, I'm Ellie. Nice to meet you, Chii."

Chii had a knack for seeing all the wrong things, and never having a clue she had. She gladly smiled at Crowley, then bowed to Ellie. "Nice to meet you too, Ellie-san." Then she tilted her head - drive.... "This is a car!" she asked happily pointing at the Bentley. She had only read about them, but hadn't seen one before.

The explanation for mojo was still being blinked at. "Awesomeness? Chii is awe-worthy?" she ended up asking Ellie.

"Course you are. Every woman is extraordinary and should be treated like royalty at all times. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise, kiddo," Ellie said with a wink. She should probably feel guilty about filling that pretty little head with such high-maintenance notions, but alas, she didn't.

Cayce nearly sporfled her champagne at Ellie's answer to Chii. Well, at least it might give the girl higher expectations for the way people acted towards her.

"Chii...." Chii looked baffled now, and told Ellie, simply, "I'm not royalty." Simple as she was, and quick learner that she was, Chii still took so many things literally. But the fact she was extraordinary was filed away, and Chii was beaming at Ellie.

Also, she just had to say, "Ellie-san and Cayce-san are also extraordinary. And look very pretty today."

[caycep]

"You don't have to actually be royalty to be treated nicely," Cayce said, hoping that would cover the matter. "And thanks, Chii."

[anthony_crowley]

"Damn straight," agreed Crowley. "Hey, Chii, we're having a party when we're done driving around. Do you want to get a swimsuit and join us at the lake?"

"Chii!!" To this, the girl reacted with a bright smile and nodded her head. "I will go there! These parties are usually fun." And with that, and a wave, she turned to run off and go find a swimsuit.

"Usually?" Crowley asked dryly to the remaining women. "What kind of shitty parties has she been going to?"

"Thanks, sweetie! See you there!" Ellie called after her. When the girl was out of earshot, she remarked, "Parties you weren't at, obviously. What a doll. Little odd though, isn't she?"
