Letter to Tamaki (Morning, well, midday-ish, after the going blind thread)

May 05, 2008 22:05

Dear Tamaki,

Let me start off by saying that I am not angry or upset with you in any way, and if I appeared to be yesterday, then I apologize. I understand the reasoning behind your actions entirely; when two people spend as much time in close company as we do, it isn't uncommon for confusing feelings or 'crossed wires' to result. I wouldn't think to presume that there was anything more than that to what you did, and in fact I'm afraid I may have sent mixed signals regarding my own intentions that may have prompted such an action.

I want to rectify that. I'm sure you're aware that I regard you as a very close friend and our relationship is extremely valuable to me, but I don't have any interest in pursuing anything further. I'm certain the same is true for you and yesterday was simply the result of momentary confusion. However, were there anything more behind your actions, I would have to inform you that the feeling is not mutual, and such a relationship would be altogether impossible.

If I am in any way to blame for prompting this incident, as I fear I may be, then I am deeply apologetic for the misunderstanding. I hope you harbor no ill-feelings.

Your Friend,

Kyouya
