“Wha... ”
There was a glare in the young woman’s eye as she turned on her heel, hand instinctively shooting up to block it out so her eyes adjusted to the scene. Once they did, it was nothing but instant disorientation as she clearly remembered being on Mars not too long ago.
“Hey, wait a minute! Now just where the Hell am I?! ..Spike? Jet?….

Setsuna was stunned. He hadn't been as interested in Cowboy Bebop as he had been Rurouni Kenshin, but he knew of it, had seen pretty much the entire series, and read a bit of the manga. At least, enough to be curious and eager to meet her.
Besides, she was a babe in drawings; Setsuna wanted to see if that held and.... He smirked when he arrived on the scene, hoping Kira would show up. If Kira didn't show up, Setsuna would hunt him down and drag him out there, or something -- he'd thinking of something.
When he got there, he waved to Faye and said, "Hi. Sorry, they won't answer you much. But uh...welcome to the most disturbing warped Disneyland ever thought of. And, to make it all so much more wonderful," he put enough sarcasm into his voice to make the word wonderful sound obscene and revolting, "you're trapped.
"I'm Mudou Setsuna. Call me Setsuna."

Then with a sigh, her stiff composure started to grow limp and she said, "Setsuna, hmm? Nice to meet you." Then came another pause as she eyed him now. "You wouldn't happen to know someone named Spike, would you? Big, tall guy... fluffy hair?"

When she asked about Spike, it took all of Setsuna's self control to purse his lips together and not blab out something stupid like, "I haven't seen him in at least three years." When he felt he could trust his vocal chords, he shook his head and told her, "No, sorry. No one like that here." But now that Faye showed up...well, it could happen.

Faye had, indeed, glimpsed back to see the frightful nothingness when it was pointed out, feeling her heart thump as the open space greeted her with an eerie feeling. She looked back once it started to feel rather overwhelming, gulping back a whimper. "I see.."
Standing there, she drew in a breath and then exhaled -- doing her best to remain level-headed. Everything is all right. It's not like she hadn't been anywhere out of the ordinary before. She grew accustomed to a drastic change before, what was there to be so concerned about having now arrived at an improvised version of the real Disneyland? "Heh, right. Thanks, anyway... Setsuna, was it?"

"So...hope you don't mind theme parks. There's not a whole lot to do beyond go on rides and find a way out. At least everything's free. What do you like to do for fun?" What an unnecessary question that had been, but he had to keep up that act, at least for now.

"Theme park? Eh, I've never really been to one befo--.." Wait, did he just say what she thought he just said? Her face dropped and just to be sure she asked, "Free?" Okay, so maybe it wasn't so bad.
Faye ran a hand through her hair as she sighed off the heavy feeling, peering out at nothing, "For fun?" She looked back at him, thinking that 'stealing' really wouldn't have come off the way she'd want. So instead she went with, "Gamble. Nothing like using your luck at a game of poker, you know?" Or not. He looked rather young the more she stared at him. "How old are you, by the way?"
Reply
"Yeah, free. You can just get whatever you want from the shops and food places. Which comes in handy, because how are you supposed to pay for things without money? And how can you keep money on you for a year if you're spending it all on food and have no way of getting more? It's a bit convenient."
Setsuna knew a bit of gambling, but since he sucked at luck and chance, he tended to stray from those. All the same he told her, "Yeah, kinda. We had a game of strip poker here sometime back." When she asked his age, though, Setsuna noticed the word young, and finally, he blushed a little, feeling embarrassed as he squeaked out, "Sixteen. I'm not that young."

The whole point Faye had asked for his age was just to get an idea. When he told her he was sixteen, she simply smirked at him, finding his slightly flustered face a little adorable. "Strip poker, hmm~? Don't you think you're a little too young for that?" However, she gave him a small smile as she tucked her hands into her pockets, "Well, you are pretty cute for a sixteen year old boy, so I guess it's all right."

Only after did he realize he hadn't just let his mouth run away with him, but he'd been rambling as well.
At being asked if he was too young for strip poker, Setsuna's blush got a bit worse as he protested, "I've been playing it since I was thirteen. Can't be all that too young." And then his mind and mouth shut down a bit when she said he was cute. On one hand, Setsuna didn't like being called cute. On the other hand...Faye Valentine thought he was cute ( ... )

Her eyes seemed to glisten in that playful way as she could only find this guy nothing but amusing. Although, he kind of impressed her with his statement. "Thirteen? I haven't played many games of strip poker, but I've had my experience. Fun game, I must say." She winked.
She started to assume that the more she messed with him, the more humorous he'd be. However, at his comment towards her appearance all she could do was say, "Well, how can I not call you cute when that was pretty cute of you to say? Hmmm~?" Smirking still, she reached over and ruffled the boy's hair.

The wink didn't help Setsuna's painfully dark blush, and there was little he could do to hide it, so he just looked down. "Well, yeah. Fun. I prefer pool.... Since I just lose at poker, no matter what I do."
Having his hair ruffled just made him feel like he was a kid, or he'd met the female version of his Senpai. He wasn't sure which, yet. "Cute? Cute? My girlfriend wouldn't think it cute. She'd probably kick my ass. All I was doing was being honest, though. It ain't my fault if she's scrawny." Granted, he didn't care how skinny Sara was, she was still attractive, in his eyes. But...he did like curves.

Now that she had managed to fluster the kid enough, Faye gave a small laugh and smiled at him. "Pool looks fun. I've never played it myself, though. But if you ever need any tips on playing poker -- you know who to come to."
Of course, when Setsuna mentioned his girlfriend, she couldn't help herself. "Girlfriend, huh?" Now Faye was back to smirking at him as she felt ready to tease the poor guy again. Bending down just enough so her cleavage was in perfect view, she slipped a finger beneath Setsuna's chin and pushed his head up so he was looking at her, "We'll just keep that between you and I, then. She doesn't need to know." Trying not to laugh, Faye gave another wink.

His cheeks burned, and he had to swallow, half knowing he was being toyed with. And once his voice came back, the one thing that shot out was, "There ain't nothing to keep between us anyway." Because, really, nothing happened. But...he wouldn't deny Sara fury rights if she had witnessed the scene, never.
"And, uhh...I think I've told you everything you need to know. If you have any questions, you know my name and how to find me," Setsuna started rambling off again, thinking it was time to leave. "Don't hestitate to."
Reply
"You got it, stud." Faye said with a grin as she leaned back up and crossed her arms. The grin then faded into a kind smile as she added on, "And thank you. I really appreciate the information."

To her thank-you, Setsuna shrugged. "No problem. See ya around." With that, he headed off. Thankfully, he noticed Kira there, or he would have bugged him later. But...seeing Kira also made Setsuna walk a little faster.
