Between Kira and Setsuna
After learning Fay had lost someone in the recent disappearances, only to find he, Setsuna, hadn't, and after dealing with Crowley, sort of, Setsuna felt overwhelmed by everything. It was an awkward thing feeling people vanish, and he didn't want to feel it again. More than that, he realized he had been avoiding Crowley because the demon made him think of Katou, a lot.
That wasn't an excuse, however. It was pathetic of him, and the kid felt terrible when it came to light. Here Crowley could have disappeared, and he wouldn't have known until he went checking. Sure, he didn't like some things about Crowley, but he wasn't so bad Setsuna wanted him to vanish. And Fay...poor Fay.
Perhaps it was Kira's practice of dragging the blond off when he hit a spell of doldrums, but whatever had caused his vice, Setsuna grabbed his bottle of moonshine and went off looking for a quiet place to be alone, in order to avoid alarming Sara. He ended up back under the stage in Tomorrowland.
While he normally enjoyed drinking with Kira, he felt this time he shouldn't. Kira had dealt with enough of his crap, and didn't need more of it. Not now. He should be happy.... Only, he was thinking of Katou and wondering where he was, if he was one of those ducks. Was River? Maybe she was better off as a duck, that poor girl.
It was these things Setsuna mentally berated himself with as he took an unwise gulp of moonshine, only to sputter and choke at the burning taste that followed.
"DAMN!" he cried out, staring at the bottle accusingly. "John wasn't kidding, was he? This stuff is awful." He could feel the effects slowly starting, even as he spoke, though, and that caused him to take another drink, far more cautious this time around.
