Gay Marriage? ((Locked to Fay and/or Kurogane))

May 04, 2007 21:40

((Backdated to the afternoon after Susan spent the night.))

John was a little slow in getting back to work after Susan left and quite a bit distracted, but duty was duty, so eventually he found himself in his office putting pen to paper.

(Letter to Mickey Mouse)

Dear Sir:

I must Thank you for a moment of your time. As I'm sure you know, I am an Attorney by profession and have been retained on behalf of a Resident of the park in regards to a certain Matter. However, I find this Matter cannot be resolved without an understanding of the Laws of this place. I ask specifically on any Laws regarding marriage; are there are any Practices for that blessed state which are Forbidden?

Your servant,
J. Adams

(Letter to John Adams)

Someone wants to get married? That's swell! Ha ha!!

It was signed with three circles, a large center one and two smaller ones on top of the first and to the right and left. John stared at the letter. He'd never seen anyone spell out a laugh before. And it didn't answer his question. Were there laws in this place?

(Letter to Mickey Mouse)

Dear Sir:

I am unsure how to Interpret your last letter. Does it mean it is Legal and Morally Acceptable for two men to marry one another here?

Your servant,
J. Adams

(Full Color Brochure to John Adams)

Disney's Fairy Tale Wedding packages include a wedding planner, the ceremony, food and beverages, flowers, and table decorations.

The Lavish Wedding Option also includes a ride to the ceremony in the Cinderella coach, costumed trumpeters heralding the couple's arrival, and attendance by Mickey Mouse dressed in formal attire.

John thought about the message for a long time and finally interpreted it as an assent. The mouse wouldn't try to suggest something that wasn't allowed, presumably.

The odd letters in hand, he went to New Orleans Square and knocked on the door of the Cat's Eye Cafe, hoping to share the good news with Fay.
