raining down from the stars
Turns out my computer, laptop, and Jer's computer now are on strike. Laptop power DOA, my PC monitor working when it feels like it, and Jer's slow old computer now has a bad mouse. Yeah, 2 more weeks:P If I could only recreate some monster of a computer from the parts of the other computers to get me by... mwhahaha. My keyboard and mouse are the fancy wireless ones tho and Jer's cruddy old comp wouldn't handle them well. His cruddy old monitor just happens to not fit my tower either and carrying the bugger was on my last resort list. I want to call samsung and say fix this refurb'd peice of junk you replaced my last monitor with but if it turns out to just be the videocard it'll cost a ton of money. So here I am moving the mouse dial with my fingers wishing I was a mad computer scientist.
The mold situation really isn't doing much either. The plumber that came out today said it must be coming from a leak in the air ducts and that's what he'd tell the landlords who will tell the owner to figure out what he's willing to pay to do. I'm still mighty pissed but waiting to hear what they're gonna do. Shadow's itching is slightly worse and Clovee's starting to itch the same. My headaches suck but that's as much the stress from dealing with the situation and the stormy weathers impact.
Having to cancel the cable, going through net withdrawl, having the movies with Jer in death valley (don't ask me why he packed them but forgot his toothpaste), and the ever increasing heat/humidity are taking their toll. Called Jer's momma tonight just to catch up. Sounds like our family friend Nancy is still slipping away to cancer. My sister in law with the 3 kids is still getting divorced and her husband is getting deployed to iraq in october. It's sure not going to be the same place to come home to. I'm trying to convince my dad to get one of those good old tiny travelhomes and put it on his property in the country for the pups and me to temporarily live in when we get there. Otherwise there's really nowhere to go with the dogs and I'm not getting another place I haven't seen EVER again. Well I'm off to try and catch the baby lizard running around my feet. Thank God it's not a scorpion;) Much love!
