Happy Post: A fun day at Comic Con

Nov 20, 2021 19:58

Today I headed to London Film and Comic Con. It was cancellied in 2020 and postponed from July this year, so I was happy that it finally went ahead.

It was significantly smaller than other Comic Cons I've been to, but that actualy worked nicely - hardly any queuing, and it just made for a nice leisurely atmosphere to ease back into the Comic Con scene with.

I had a couple of photo ops, and an autograph lined up, and all in all it was a wonderful day!  The fact that there weren't too many people there meant that I had a good few minutes to chat during my autograph with George Takei and he really is a delightful soul.

I was so thrilled to be here

I found a very seasonal-looking stormtrooper to hob-nob with!

Found my way into the tardis!!!

Photo with Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead/Boat that Rocked/Hot Fuzz) and he was a hoot!

Absolute sci-fi royalty - the lovely George Takei

A Mr Sulu artwork I did for George Takei to sign.
