Because I seem to spend half my working life in Teams meetings at the moment, a couple of the girls have mentioned how long my hair is at the moment.  And it's true, my hair is longer at the moment than it's ever been since I got married almost 27 years ago

When you said long I was expecting more! LOL It's only a bit longer at the back really. Not that I'm criticising at all - especially not after hacking more of mine off last weekend 😂😂😂😂

It's longer than mine's been for ages, so even his length is quite a culture shock. I can't wait to see what Marc is going to say when I see him in two weeks!

You should definitely go long(er). If you put lots of layers in your hair it helps make it easier to not only grow longer but to manage as well.

I've always had a short haircut. The couple of times I tried to grow my hair out were very unsuccessful. My hair did not work out AT ALL. But, like you, with the pandemic I was forced to grow my hair out a little longer than what I was used to. And you know what?? I love it. My hair is styled just a little differently than it was in my previous attempts to grow longer hair, so now the longer hair is looking really good and I'm enjoying it. I can wear longer earrings, which is one of my main reasons for growing it out. I always felt self-conscious with earrings that were longer than my hair. Now I don't feel that way. I don't let my hair get too long, its shoulder length, maybe a little longer, but that's it. So, its very manageable, doesn't take much care. I'm loving it. Will definitely keep the style.

I'm definitely n the mindset to do that so we'll see whet happens when I talk to my hairdresser.

You have curly bangs/fringe like my sister! And your hair's about as curly/wavy & thick as hers. She had shoulder length hair, but cut it shorter into a cute bob. (it's about chin length now & she grew out her bangs/fringe) Maybe something like that would work for you?

It may well work. I'm just going to let my hairdresser decide. He knows far more about this stuff than I do!
