Many of you may remember the fundraising effort for Wings a few weeks ago.  As part of that, I offered a hurt/comfort fic involving our lovely boys and, although I've never written slash before, I decided to give it a whirl if requested on this occasion to give my offer wider appeal.

This was a great story, the ice cracking was edge-of-your-seat stuff, thank goodness the lake wasn't deep! I loved Dean struggling to get Sam back to the Impala on his busted ankle, so very Dean-like! And the way Dean progressed from warming Sam up to touching him up was very well done; Sam's line made me smile..

“I’m pretty sure that doesn’t qualify as part of my core,”

I really enjoyed this, I hope you write more slash with hurt/comfort too!

You did an absolute fantastic job jacking up the tension during that fight scene and Dean's struggle to get Sam back to the Impala. Then Dean did a fine job of taking care of Sam. ;-)
