Update: my Grandfather
Thank-you, my friends, for all the well wishing. It means soo much to know you all care, it really does! ;-;
I haven't been online much as I've spent a good deal of time either @ the hospital or furiously working on stuff for Otakon and on overdue commissions.
[An Update]:
My Grandpa (Papa) didnot suffer a stroke but suffer from a bloodclot in his brain that pretty much exploded, thus causing the emergency run to the hospital last Friday. He had surgery to correct the problem this past Monday where upon the doctor found a bigger issue while repairing the above problem. The small bloodclot was a prelude to a more massive problem that, if not caught on time, would have killed him. Thank gawd for small miracles, I feel super lucky. ;-; He is doing well and wants to go home (and has already broken 2 footboards in his restlessness to want to be over and done with the hospital stay).
