Happy Halloween!
I'm trying to enjoy my day now since I'm going to be working all night. Normally today would be a short night since it's Sunday, but they extended the hours since it's Halloween and all. It kind of sucks since it's pretty cold today, and it'll likely get worse once the sun goes down. That's really the main thing that I hate about it: it's no fun being outside in the cold. I assume it'll be pretty busy tonight though, so that should definitely help things. It's not so bad when we're busy, since that typically means we're moving around a lot. It just sucks towards the end of the night when the groups start dwindling, because then we're just basically standing in one spot for several minutes at a time while we wait for someone to come through. That's really when the cold gets to you.
Anyway. There's really no point to this post, so here's a meme... sort of.
Create a graphic (200 x 200 max size) to represent your personal "candy". It should have your username on it, but otherwise can feature whatever you want. Make it something special since it's self-representative. Make a post with the subject "trick or treat?". Put your "candy" somewhere in it, and be sure to repost these instructions. Then, go around other people's LJs and reply to them with either "trick" or "treat". If you reply with "trick", they will give you an LJ dare that you have to perform before taking their candy. If you're too wimpy for that, simply say "treat" and take their candy. List all your collected candies in your original "trick or treat?" post to show off your collection!
I'm not doing the whole 'trick' thing since I'd never be able to think of anything for it, so just take one if you want it. There are three different ones because I couldn't decide which one I liked best, but oh well! This was more or less an excuse to make cute (or, uh... not so cute?) graphics.
