Click to viewi know it came out in 2010, but this is probably my personal definitive song of 2011. i don't care how popular it is. it's awesome.
life is good and christmas-time is here. in keeping with mindful finances, i opted out of a traditional fir and instead have decorated our large fig tree which was in the house anyway. i gave it a new pot and some lights, garlands, and various little hanging objects. i even had a star-shaped candle holder that i hung from the ceiling above it. not too shabby! next year i certainly hope for a big-assed christmas, complete with hosting a fab party and having a real yule tree and going someplace snowy. but for now it's good enough to simply have a place of my own, within which to have a funny little christmas tree.
i was planning on writing a big long introspective entry about how awesome my boyfriend is and what's going on with work and goals and sakti and whatnot, but carol has invited me to an afternoon out followed by a sleepover! SCREAM! so i'm out.
