YOU HEARD RIGHT!
READING WEEK IS UPON US!
You know what that means? Do you? Do you??
WE GET A WHOLE ENTIRE WEEK OF DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BECAUSE WE WORKED OUR ASSES OFF TO MAKE SURE WE WERE AHEAD IN ALL OF OUR READINGS!
And the last two midterms went well. More than well.
[Charlotte] I think I may have liked the anthropology of meaning questions a little bit too much because I ended up writing a novel, but what the heck. It was long answer questions. But seriously, when they ask you about what makes language special as a carrier of meaning... It's irresistible.
But yeah. They were fun. Legal anthropology will have lots of people who did poorly though... there were some really random-specific questions in the multiple choice section, and you HAD to have read everything carefully to answer the essay questions (and many people don't do the readings because the prof kind of summarizes them during lectures). It was fun nonetheless.
Hehe. Movies. We totally have to go--we haven't been since August.
Though when we leave we'll have a nice huge headache and feel dizzy... but whatever. Life as teenagers, no matter how freaky we are among our peers, requires that we go to the movies at least once in a while.
So there.
And OMG we're free.
And we're old.
But that means we can do our practicals for our driver's licenses.
Even though we hate driving. Parents will force us to do the exam.
Evil.
And huge thanks to
discordous for the lovely userpic!
... As you may have guessed, we got our hands on a little too much Valentine's Day candy (cinnamon hearts~ whee~~~).
Maybe we'll go play in the snow to pretend we're not any older.
