of Books & $$
Friday was a good day. Even though Z and the boy didn't come with me to the book faire, I still had a good time with my mom. Now this wasn't any old book faire. If it was, my mom might not have let me go. XD No, this was special one. One four-day weekend a year, the City's library has a massive blow out sale. It's a fantastic event as they use one of the old shipping yard warehouses to hold it. Ft. Mason to be exact. All books are under $5. =D And any kind of book you can think of was there. What's really great is on Sunday, the remaining books are only $1!! X3 Sadly I could only go on friday so I had to pay "full price." But it was all good. I got to get the Griffin&Sabine trilogy for 3 bucks a pop (in fantasmic condition too), VirtualReality CyberPunk novel, japanese print coloring book, cookbook, guide to the maya, couple of blank journals, and a "Reading a Japanese Newspaper" primer! =DD And then after, went over to Z's house to watch the first disc of Battle Star Galactica. I will convert my friends, yes i will! *shakes fist*
Rest of of the weekend I can't remember.... I've been soo freaking tired of late and I dunno why... That's why it's been a few days since my last post. And once again I've fallen behind on my commenting... But I shall catch up! x3 And *sigh* I only have like 3-4 days left of my paid account... *huggles the icons* Seriously, that's why I originally paid for LJ.... Last time I paid, I "stole" $5 bucks from my mom heheheh.... Don't wanna do it again since she paid for my books mentioned above... If only I could get a job... Grr.... Baka B&N for not hiring me cause I'm too good.. ;_; N2S: figure out financial aid for this semester. OKies... Gonna have a few List posts... I think myu XD
