Talking about the weather
You know, those awkward moments when you've got nothing else to talk about. Welcome to my LJ ;)
Anyway yes, it looks like summer just abandoned us overnight. Still dry, but the temperature is a good 10°C cooler and the humidity has tanked, making it feel cooler still. We didn't even have a thunderstorm or anything, it just...went away.
I was getting used to seeing orange and red blobs all over the Wundermap in the morning, and now they're all back to yellows and greens.
Sigh, was that it then? A horrible rainy first two months followed by a month of hot & humid interspersed with thunderstorms? After all that rain I was hoping for a nice extended Indian summer, stretching out into late September at least.
Oh well, I suppose it's a sign that I should start making sure my winter cycling gear is all in order. Hmph.
