Chuck: Part 4
I got home from work last night. Dr. Cardenas had called Chuck back. She told him that they dont know what it is in his kidney. It may be nothing, it may be serious. And that he needs to go to the Urology Appointment (she knows he hates going to the Dr). He told me how angry he is that they dont know. He (and I agree) thinks that the CAT scan should have answered some questions. He feels like the CAT scan was done for no reason and he does not want to be anyones guinea pig. I am thinking that the CAT scan ruled out a kidney stone. I hope not, but thats what I am thinking.
He started talking about how mad his mom is making him. I told him that I don't want to talk to her at all. He said "You are my wife and I want you there with me!" Then he asked if I could go to the next appointment and I told him how my boss said I can take ANY day off for an appointment.
I am trying my hardest to have a smile on my face when I am at home. I think he actually smiled a few times last night too :)
This morning he got up and went to work and I fell back asleep. Around 6:30 I hear "Hey babe" and he was in bed next to me. He had gotten to work and they sent him home. I almost drove there on my way to work to hug them :) I am making a Dr. appointment as soon as they open. He started with a cold and now has a fever.
Urology is supposed to call today and set an appointment. I told him to try and get one as soon as possible, that way he isnt sitting stewing over this.
