Zombies on the Mind
So, I had a weird as dream last night. It was about Zombies. Which isn't so weird in and of itself. Zombies have been on the mind a bit since I read the World War Z and watched the Zombie Land.
So, it was a normal enough Zombie scenario. They were everywhere, and it was absolutely utterly hopeless. Crazy violence and people getting turned left and right. Not all the turning was just Zombie bites though, it was easy to get infected with little more than a finger prick and a little bit of infected blood, or ingesting infected biomatter.
For some reason, Diziara was there and she got infected. Once the infection spread so that everyone was infected, the zombies were less about the violence, and more like Owen Harper from the Torchwood, where they weren't so much zombies as just reanimated dead. They didn't need to sleep, didn't need to eat, and just had to be very careful not to damage the body, as it couldn't heal.
So, originally I was someone else watching, didn't get infected or anything, I was just watching. But once the Zombies won, I then took on Dizi's perspective. But there wasn't really anything to note, other than she'd somehow managed to be turned non-violently, so she was picture perfect, just more pale. Then we went to sing karaoke, and for some reason I'm inviting my friend Paul and his wife to join us, which was weird since I wasn't myself, but Diz.
