I GOT A NEW JOB!
I am turning in my resignation letter at work tonight, and giving two weeks notice. The new job wanted me ASAP, but are understanding and cool about my desire to give notice at the other job. I did also offer to work around my schedule for my remainder of time at the now old job, so they can get whatever training they want for me in while they still have their previous person there. It actually turned out to be a good thing that my two days off next week are in the middle of the week, because the new place is a monday through friday gig, with normal business hours. That part will take some adjusting to, but this week of AM shifts on the front register have helped adjust me a little.
I am so excited, I have a real adult job now. Monday through Friday, full time, and bennies! Wow. I am excited.
