Cars and Polo shirts.
Good news: I have cheap polo shirts to hold me over until I get the real thing for my new job.
Bad news: My car overheated as I got off the freeway today, and died while I was waiting for the light to change and let me out of the freeway exit. I had to turn on my hazards, and I was blocking traffic. Luckily someone stopped and helped me move my car over to the side of the road. I tried calling my mother's boyfriend for help, but his phone's going straight to voice mail. Since AT&T is infamous for losing voice mails for days on end, I didn't leave him a message there, but I did call the landline and leave a message there telling him I'm having car trouble and asking him to call me back. My brother was able to swing by and help me, so we did get my car into the shopping center parking lot near by, and I've been periodically calling and seeing if I can reach the mother's boyfriend.
Right now I'm at my dad's house, and I really hope that I can get my mother's boyfriend on the phone before my dad gets home because my dad'll likely insist on trying to help, but he's really utterly inept at everything car stuff and I would rather have someone who knows what they're doing look at it.
It's likely a lack of radiator fluid at this point, as my radiator has been leaking for a while, and my mom's boyfriend just hasn't had time to replace the radiator yet, and has just been topping up the fluid as he gets the chance to check on it. I am pretty sure he did it again recently, but apparently it wasn't recently enough as evidenced by today's mess. meh.
