Updates on music related stuff.
So, last night I found out two things relating to music shows I was or am interested in going to. First thing: Blue Öyster Cult was playing a show at the end of last month that I was interested in going to, but I wasn't sure if it was worth the effort of driving into SF, going to a place I didn't know, and paying a bit more for a show than I could probably afford (though it was low enough I could have worked it out if I really needed to). Also, I wasn't sure what BÖC was like currently, as I'd only heard the sirius radio stuff and the mp3s I had. Well, last night Gale informed me that one of the live albums I had on my computer was recent, so sadly, I would have probably had an awesome time at the show, but I'd chickened out on going. I am sad.
Second thing, the Heart concert I was whining about wanting to go to? My mom mentioned to my dad I was interested, while she was talking to him about the birthday present plans for my brother. My dad was already eyeing one of the Heart concerts that'll be vaguely in the area, it'll be a little farther away than the one at the Mountain Winery, but if he's willing to pick up the tab as a birthday present, I'm cool with it. ^_^ I'm not sure if he'll tell me when he gets tickets, or if he'll wait 'til we're closer to the concert to tell me, if he decides to do it. But I'm glad to know there is a chance of going now. :)
Then, speaking of my brother, I convinced him to let me take him to the Babyland show tonight. Unfortunately, because I'd depended upon his girlfriend to connect me with his friends, I didn't get the surprise aspect of it worked out like I wanted, and another of his friends scheduled her birthday party the same night, so it's just me and him. That's okay though, I'm sure he'll have fun, and I'll likely be able to turn him into a Babyland fan recruiter. Next show, we'll bring a massive crowd of crazy people with us.
