(no subject)
Well, my actual driver's license card showed up in the mail today. My picture is completely and utterly hideous, it is probably the least flattering picture I have ever taken. Most people don't have too terrible of a picture on their license, even though they think it's absolutely hideous... and I'd know, considering part of my job is to ask to see a person's ID when I take a check, process a credit card transaction, or sign them up for something like a credit card.
I had one lady who'd come into the store, and she made some comment about her lack of make up and how crappy her picture was. And really, she didn't look bad in her picture. She acted like I was feeding her lies when I told her she looked fine without her make up. But yeah... some people. *shakes head*
At any rate, would you like to know the reason I am so convinced that my license picture is the worst picture of me? My hair looks like crap (I was overdue for a hair cut at the time), I look half dead and/or tired in the picture, and I am completely and utterly washed out and pale looking. If I hadn't been coming pretty much directly from class after having to get up way earlier in the morning that I'm happy with, for said class, I might have taken time to attempt to do something with my hair, and I probably would have actually *gasp* bothered with make up so I would look semi tolerable in the picture. Oh well. Not many people are happy with their driver's license pictures... so I'm not going to worry about it, or let it bug me. However, I still had to bitch about it once in LJ. o_O
In other news, I'm still waiting for the UPS man to come with my Audi-Oh. The tracking formation says it's out for delivery... and the UPS truck usually zooms past in the afternoon, so I should get it soon. I hope.
I also need to decide if I want to be an organ donor... I'm leaning towards saying yes, but I think I need to look into it a little bit and see what all is involved. The little card that came with my driver's license has various options to check off... so I'll need to consider this, and figure out which is the best one for me to select. I'll figure it out eventually, but yeah. Just something for my mind to chew over a bit. This also reminds me that I'm curious what my blood type is, but I'm not sure how to figure that out... I suppose I could donate blood, but I'm not sure if I could handle that very well, I mean, it's basically as much blood loss as my period (or so I've been told), but it would be in one quick draw, and would involve a needle. I can handle needles if I have to, but I don't particularly care for them. So yeah. Donno.
