...and once again it stays consistant. If this isn't a sign that I should get off my ass and get my bangs all bleached white. I donno what is.

Which X2 Character Are You?
...anyhow, I have a bit of a head ache right now. It's annoying, but it's better than the nasty ache I had in my gut yesterday afternoon. I think it was 'cause I had eatten hardly anything yesterday... then I'd visited a little shop full of incense. The mix seemed to have not liked me... but there were so many nifty things in that place! I ended up leaving with a cute little lizzard dude to hang on my ear. I wanted to buy a pretty shiney sharp thing... but figured I'd be better off running that one past my dad before doing so. No need to have him find out I have something sharp and dangerous and have him freak on me about it.

...And those of you who might be thinking "what about your d'k tahg?" I still plan to buy one of those, don't worry. That one's my baby, I am not gonna forget it. However, the pretty I saw at the shop yesterday is v. pretty also. She's all curved and she looks like she's double edged, but she's actually single edged.

I can't wait 'til Matrix on friday! *bouncey* Bob (goddice) says he actually will be splitting a little earlier than planned originally... he's gonna be able to skip out of work earlier than his usual 7 since his boss (or coworker, don't remember which) needed to split earlier last friday, so he said he's cover for them then, if they'd cover for him to leave early this coming friday. So that means I'm gonna be headed out to the theater earlier than orignally planned. Assuming it's not busy enough to justify my staying 'til 6, I'll probably split work at 5:30 when Steve shows up.

Thursday I got annoyed with Sean because he decided that after his denist/doctors (don't remember which) appointment he should head up to his grandparents' place for the weekend early... thus skipping class, and therefore skipping the lunch time D&D stuff we had planned. James helped me finish off my character... and we'd assumed that Jay was gonna do the same for Brandie... but after James was about halfway done with helping me finish off mine, we realized Brandie and Jay weren't working on her character sheet. After a quick inquiery, we found out Jay hadn't done any D&D character building lately... so he didn't quite remember how to do it well enough to be able to walk Brandie through it. By the time James finished with my character sheet, and Brandie and I ran to go make copies of the blank character sheet from the back of James' D&D book so we could recopy and be able to read our information... it was time for James and I to head to our afternoon classes. If we'd realized that Jay wouldn't be able to help Brandie with her character sheet, we would have started with her first... and I would have just brought my stuff with me to the Star Wars game I sat through just to socialize with everyone this weekend... and got it finished off then.

..Speaking of the Star Wars game... while I still have little to no interest in Star Wars, I didn't suffer boredom too much while sitting through the game saturday night. There were more movie/comic refferences that I actually knew, which was nice... the two Champions games I'd been involved in, there were making refferences to all sorts of movies and stuff that I hadn't seen... most of which I probably would have seen by now had I gotten my driver's license before my former boy toy had broken up with me and been subjected to the required viewing list of movies he had been constructing for me. *shrugs* Oh well... I've never been much of a Movie person. However, there were frequent references to Fifth element last night... which was fun, since that's one of favorite movies. There were also a couple of Red neck tree references made by Bob... apparently he and I were the only ones to understand them.

Our next game is supos'ta be a Vampire game, and will hopefully take place the 31st... and I'm looking forward to getting Veta into play. Depending on how Brandie takes to D&D (assuming we ever get it going), she might be coming along for the Vampire game too. However, our group is infamous for not being able to do two games in one month... so it may or may not happen. Depends on if fate wants to be nice or not. If it doesn't happen, the next game is another Star Wars game, shaping up to happen the weekend I'm out of town for my cousin's graduation from College. That game's supos'ta happen no matter to if the Vampire game happens... just to work around the fact that the weekend if question was the only one everyone else could agree on... so I suggested they just aim for that and do a Star Wars game before I asked if we could try for another game this month, and the 31st coming up as the only weekend that coordinated for everyone. We'll see how that happens.

...and if we do a game on the 31st... I'm hoping to have discussed the sharp pretty thing subject with my dad by then, so I can go back to that place and buy my sharp pretty thing. I also need to check back with the guy I was gonna be buying my d'k tahg from too. I want losts of sharp pretty things.

As I'm working on this, I have a fairly dead IM going with Oliver (zeframmann) as he's working on a drawing for me. I'm torn between being a pest and asking him questions... or being good and letting him work so he'll finish quicker. I love when people I know who are good at drawing and stuff draw my characters. I'm still in love with the picture of Dizi he did for me... she's so cool, and he grabbed her personality fairly well. I'll put it up here for those of you who've started reading my journal more recently and didn't see her the first time I posted her for everyone to see.

The piece Oliver is working on for me now is of my Vampire character I am so impatient to play with. James is working on a version of her for me too. She's turning out fairly cool in his version, the only issue I have with it is how he did her eyes... but that's kinda his style. *shrugs* She still looks hella cool. *bouncey* I'll post the finished piece for your guys to check out. If you wanna see the work in progress, you're welcome to swing by Sci-fi Meshes and peek in on the thread here. Oh, and a little perspective, this is how I put Veta together in the Hero machine... which is a fairly limited medium, but I've found it does help me iron out come parts of character concepts.

Her clothes came out just about all wrong, but as I said, the hero machine is pretty limited in what it'll do. She usually dresses in clothes that lean towards a gypsy/hippie style... but I guess the outfit she is wearing in the hero machine version could be considered like her "club wear"... but yeah.

Shit, I think this is one of the longest entries I've written. I've tried to lj-cut enough that it won't take up too much space... but I donno. Please yell if I really didn't cut enough.
