A Final Farewell

Last night was a bittersweet mixture of happiness and sorrow rolled into one kickass hotel party. It was the last hoorah of sorts, the final blow-out bash of some young high school kids making their way to college. It was promised to be a fun filled night and indeed it was. We headed out to the hotel with a meager 25 dollars amongst us and looking to buy as much beer as possible. We managed to get two twelve packs and a six pack which was more than enough when you throw a handle of some delicious grey goose into the mix. We found the hotel easily, but were strictly forbidden by blair's older brother to take the vallet parking that they had available, which I still can't understand. It would have saved us the five minutes that we were lost in the parking lot looking for the car, but whatever. We made our way to the suite that was reserved and got down business.

After many a toast and a couple of beers, we made our way down to the five pools, giant hottub, and oh so inviting water slide. The water slide was closed, but that wasn't anything a couple of hands couldn't fix. We opened the gate and went to sliding. After sliding to our little heart's content, we decided we wanted to go on the mysterious nature trail. Due to our laziness, we drunkenly traversed some of the most perilous looking rocks I've seen in some time. We made our way down the rock trail and checked out what nature had to offer. I can only say that nature has some fine plants to offer. Once we were done discovering mother nature, and molesting her, we went back to the room and soon left.

It was an emotional departure but we all have to leave some time. Tres, you have given us many memories and shown us the ropes of partying and more importantly, binge drinking. We will miss you greatly. With you, you take a piece of the party. The ride home was long but it was well worth it. I made it back home around 1:30 and hit the hay.
