Regarding Rain:

Somehow the new Thursday song "Running From the Rain" was adopted as a Lindsay-Ben song the last time we hung out, and yesterday... Ben pulled up next to my usual parking spot and when I got out of the car, what do I hear playing? That song. And he was smiling and when the line "Oh I will be with you, running from the rain" came, he pointed up at the sky, because it had been raining for the past two hours, and he got out and hugged me and I swear to God, I've never had a better moment.
Having a friend like him always reminds me of Catcher in the Rye. Always. I'm lucky to have that; it's comforting.
