(no subject)
I have the flu. Hence I am taking two days off of school and work. Thing is, I had the flu vaccine. So it sucks. I can't speak above a whisper and I can't say no to my mum coming home and making me eat greasy chinese egg rolls and egg drop soup, which by the way is the worst shit ever.
The doctor gave me some tamiflu to help the virus stop replicating and hopefully I'll have my voice back in time for my radio show. (btw: playlists www.musicphilic.livejournal.com)
On another note, I think I am still infatuated with a certain Hunter Metz. We hung out until after 10 last night and just cuddled on the couch because I wasn't feeling up to much. We saw Ed Wood which wasn't great but it wasn't supposed to be. It's sort of weird that the way I know Hunter is from working with him. How I called him after he left to see if he was okay. But how I gave him Paul's phone number because he and Paul got along at work and now they're living together. And Matt from work moved in about a week before Hunter did. It makes for an almost weird dynamic between me and Paul and Matt at work though I like hanging out with them at their apartment. Matt is probably gay, a playwright, possibly alcoholic, has acerbic wit, and looks amazing when he stands outside in his wool trenchcoat with a cigarette dangling out of his mouth. Paul is lankier than Hunter (6'3", maybe 140 lbs?), is slow but methodical and a computer geek. Anneke, sho is Paul's sister and also works at Can Can is out travelling around Europe and Asia for a few months so Matt is subletting her room. Anneke is a photography/film nut andwhereas Hunter likes Kubrick and classics, she really likes artsy French noir. Why this matters, I don't know. But Hunter is awesome.
I have to go get CT scans on my ankle now to see if I'm getting surgery. Woohoo.
