Tattoo!?

I have a major concern when I go look for a wedding dress. The thing is, my side of the family is VERY conservative. (my grandpa is a pastor and so is my uncle) But I have a full white tiger back piece done that my immediate family knows about but all of my relatives and such do not. I think it'd be easy to get away with covering it with the dress if I were getting married in the winter months, but I'm getting married in July. Also, make-up wise I'm afriad if I got it covered it'd get all over my dress as the day went on and wear off and/or not cover it all. If I let it show, there will be lots of contreversy at the wedding, in which a bride wants to completely avoid. What should I do!?
