Invite Prototype!
Hi everyone! It's been a few weeks since I've posted, but I have another "project" that I'm undergoing and I thought I'd post it up.
I didn't really have any intention of making my own invitations. I had thought about it, I suppose, but decided I didn't want to mess with it.
Until last week when I was sitting around at home - bored - and thought, "Oh why not?"
This is what I designed! I modeled it after an invitation I saw on the internet. The leaf borders are a dark purple and the background a burnt orange. For now, all I've designed is an RSVP card and a Reception card + the Invite itself. when I get the "final product" done, we'll just have a local printer make them for us.
After printing it all out, I realized that I needed to make my insert cards the same width as the Invite - the ones shown here are much too small!
I also noticed that I forgot the address to the reception site! But, like I said...prototype!
The envelope shown is probably not exactly what we'll have. It came with the sample of the invitation I ordered from the internet. We'll probably need something more like this which opens differently:
