a friend of mine had a great money-saving idea... (i know its not quite DIY...)
making an appointment and going to a clinique counter (or other makeup brand) at a department store to have your makeup done for the wedding. its free! i do work part-time at a department store, and know the clinique girls so i'm sure they'd do a geat job. then you usually buy a few things from them afterwards...
has anyone ever done this? how did it work out? my friend did this for her sister's wedding and it turned out great. i haven't talked to the girls at my store yet...
